NEWS: Plumbers Local 130 Parking Garage

 

Our client, Local 130 Plumbers Union, will host a groundbreaking ceremony next week for their parking structure in Chicago’s West Loop.

They were in the news earlier this year after secretly dying the Chicago River green overnight, surprising the city with the return of a cherished tradition. They’ve also begun to receive press for this much-needed parking structure, with architecture by OKW.

The parking structure will include 502 spaces for cars, 36 spaces for bikes, and at-grade retail opportunities. Working with W.E. O’Neill, the project is expected to be complete next year. For more perspectives, see below:
