New at OKW: Dijo Mathews & Spencer Ferguson

Our architecture studio continues to grow with two new faces, both from outside Chicago. One of our newest transplants hails from sunny California, and our second new employee brings his talents from Mumbai, India.

As our clients entrust us to handle their large and complex projects, OKW is always seeking talented and driven professionals to enrich our client service and studio experience. We still have a need for experienced architects to join our ranks. Read more about our growing company here.

Dijo Mathews

Intern Architect

Our firm had the pleasure of welcoming Dijo back when he joined as a full-time employee. As he pursued his Masters at the Illinois School of Architecture in 2018, Dijo took advantage of the program’s “Chicago Studio” course, during which he worked as an intern in our office. Now a full-time OKWer, this self-described food aficionado has returned to dive deeper into our many projects.

Originally from Los Angeles, Spencer has become very familiar with the architectural and urban landscape of Chicago thanks to his experience as an in-house architect for the CTA. His passion for architecture is informed by his artistic pursuits, which range from painting to tattoos. He joins our studio as a valued team member on several nationwide projects.
