This non-profit organization was housed in the Willis Tower when a neighboring tenant exercised their right to occupy their space. With a tight schedule for relocation and a minimal budget, our client trusted OKW to deliver a space that could allow them to perform the crucial work of helping Chicagoans of limited means with their taxes and financial applications.

The Apparel Mart was willing to offer our client a rent-free office space in their basement. OKW opened up the space with a glass wall at the office’s entry. Our designers envisioned an open office attached to a common pantry area to help all employees feel like part of a team. At the back of the office, OKW built out a modular area for lectures, team meetings, and training, as well as three private offices along the perimeter.
