Krispy Kreme Headquarters
Charlotte, North Carolina
Krispy Kreme Doughnut Corporation relocated their Product and Innovation Center from their long-term home in Winston Salem to Charlotte, North Carolina. This move was not only a proactive investment to recruit the brightest and the best. It was meant to inspire joy and creativity in their current employees, providing them with a space that could fuel their creative and collaborative spirits.
They chose a historic warehouse building in Charlotte’s vibrant South End neighborhood as their new home. The new office houses their R&D team, design & marketing teams, as well as groups leading various international initiatives to advance Krispy Kreme’s global market share. The interior design is playful, with such features as oversized light fixtures, offices that resemble doughnut boxes, and “NOW NOW” signs that are a direct reference to their “HOT NOW” signs at retail locations. The end result is a charming office that is whimsical, yet functional and modern.
