Block 37

Chicago, Illinois

OKW was initially retained by the receiver and property manager after the property began foreclosure proceedings. With only 40% of the retail space leased, OKW worked to develop marketing exhibits in an effort to spur leasing, develop alternative retail planning strategies for vacant space, and design a new graphics and signage program to both improve wayfinding and better identify the building as a retail mall.

Subsequent work included enhancing the exterior signage program, specifying tenant criteria and mall standards, leasing and marketing exhibits, development of tenant tracking tools to assist the leasing effort, public space design, and technical assistance coordination.
