Although Jason spent his childhood building with Lincoln Logs and LEGOs, it wasn’t until he saw his grandfather’s hand-drawn sketches and plans that he began the path toward architecture. As a Master of Architecture from UIC, Jason is driven by the infusion of character and personality into spaces. He takes very seriously the task that architects are given: to design, alter, and ultimately improve someone’s routine. Be it a home or a workspace, the decisions made by architects and designers have broad implications for how our clients will enjoy and engage with the space.
Jason uses this philosophy as a lodestar while working on a range of OKW’s hospitality projects. Since starting at OKW in 2019, he has become known for his attention to detail and sterling work in private clubs and residential projects. When he’s not in the office, Jason finds peace and fulfillment by exploring Chicago and training for long-distance races with his wife.
