Whether working on architecture, graphic design, or nurturing an entrepreneurial spirit, Lexy feels at home when creating something new. She experienced the pull of architecture at a young age, when she was compelled to hand sketch her house in rural Michigan. Spending her middle-school years in Germany opened her eyes to a new built world with different styles and approaches. Even though she was absolutely done with medieval castles by the time she returned to the US, she knew she wanted to be an architect.
Lexy graduated from the University of Cincinnati’s School of Architecture (DAAP) and, like many Midwesterners with a knack for design, moved straight to Chicago. Her experience in residential, institutional, and technically sophisticated projects has given her a diverse toolkit to approach the craft of creating something new.
To counter the precise and elegant world of architecture, Lexy unwinds by performing improv comedy, using her green thumb in her growing jungle of houseplants, and playing soccer.
