Elizabeth’s love of understanding and creating compelling and evocative spaces began when she found a set of dusty blueprints in middle school. Like finding a family heirloom, she looked through the plans, which had been drawn by her father, on a daily basis. It was the start of a journey that would take her to earn degrees in architecture from The Ohio State University and later the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT).
Since then, she has worked on a variety of projects ranging from commercial interiors, boutique fitness clubs, and restaurants. Her focus on how each part comes together – whether it’s a detail in design or the many trades at the project site – dictates how she approaches her craft.
Outside of OKW, you will likely find her traveling to her native Ohio, where she makes monthly visits to see her family, or exploring the city with her friends.
