Like many architects, Matt began his vocational path with LEGOs and SimCity, eventually discovering his love of architecture and design while studying history and studio art at Case Western Reserve University.
Matt earned his Master of Architecture at the University of Minnesota, where he started his career and lived for more than 10 years. After biking, swimming, fishing, and sledding his way around the Twin Cities, he moved to Chicago to live car-free, go to places that are open past 8pm, and most importantly, look at pretty buildings.
Now at OKW, Matt brings his experience in multifamily, commercial interiors, and hospitality to our diverse portfolio of projects. Outside of the office, you will find him on his bike, planning his next cross-country Amtrak trip, or chilling with his cat Roscoe.
